Revelations/Japanese Boy

So sometimes I wake up with music in my head that I don't recognise. Maybe it's something I heard, maybe it's my brain trying to be creative without stupid thinking getting in the way.

But I think this is the first time my brain's mixed together two songs like this. Truly strange. Audioslave and Aneka, you don't know what you're missing.

Thank God It's Monday

NOFX. Ate first glance this doesn't make much logical sense, but the line that I was hearing when I woke up was, "I really never liked Fridays". Which makes a lot more sense.

Didn't really sleep yesterday - hence no post.

But today it was The Who that roused me from my slumber. Teenage wasteland indeed.

"There's blood in my mouth, cos I've been biting my tongue all week..." was the line in my head this morning.

It's a good song, perhaps Rilo Kiley's finest. I shall recharge the iPod so I can hear it today.

Sometimes

Overslept somewhat today and awoke with the gentle guitar intro of Pearl Jam's "Sometimes" in my head. And it was a live version if that means anything.
